4.3       Discussion of bridge design after testing

1.     What is your score on efficiency? If the efficiency is high/low, what went right/wrong?  
         
            The score on efficiency was 144. The efficiency was quite high. The bridge started to bend in                 the middle as the truss could not support the middle part of the bridge any further and therefore             the bridge started to give way.

2.     Which part of the bridge started to give way first? Explain using Physics concepts.

The middle part of the bridge started to give way first. More force was applied to the middle by the weights because of the plate. The parts at the side of the bridge experienced less tension and therefore the middle started to give way first due to tension.


3.     Which part of the bridge provided the most strength in the testing process? Explain using Physics concepts. 
     The truss of the bridge provided the most strength. The truss allowed the main bridge platform to bend lesser as they took some of the tension exerted by the weights on the bridge. The platform itself would not have been able to to take the weight as there are no supports helping it to relieve the pressure exerted on the ice cream sticks.
